It's rare for me to wear a new item of clothing so soon after purchasing, but after buying this Striped Skirt* in New Look on Tuesday (check out the bargain price!) I couldn't wait to wear it! I'm fussy when it comes to skirts, or more specifically the waistband...thick elastic drives me mad as by the end of the day it has stretched to capacity and I feel constricted; the real selling point of this skirt to me was the soft jersey waistband with *just* enough stretch to remain comfortable. That and the fact it remains a decent length on me. Everything else about it was just a wonderful bonus.
In true blogger fail style my camera batteries died after one photo and I have no spares (who knew you had to actually charge recharchables?!) but I think you get the idea.
What have you bought and loved lately? I'm getting so fed up of layering and layering for this freezing cold weather that all I can think about now are pretty pastels and delicate lace. Bring on payday. Again.

That outfit is lovely, where are your boots from and do they have a heel? Item I've bought lately and loved is my "apres ski" boots for my ski trip in march, they're so cosy and comfortable, from zalando, fab site and soooo cheap xx
Lovely, looks great! Really like that mini skirt with your boots, then made a bit more casual by adding the sweater. Brilliant! Something I've recently bought and loved is a very light and airy nude coloured blouse (or soft beige) that drapes perfectly at the neckline.

I love this skirt, I have a black & white stripy skirt that I love, you can wear them so many ways.
I love the skirt. I seem to wear lots of monochrome outfits, always looks so striking. I have recently got a floral skirt from Oxfam for £3 and hope to wear it this weekend with thick tights and layers.
