Bath in Fashion

On Sunday a group of twelve Bristol/Bath bloggers were invited along to a taster of this year's Bath in Fashion event. We kickstarted the afternoon with tea and scones at the Fashion Museum (a must see for any fashion fan) before dividing in to two groups for a little taste of what's in store. Our group went along to pop up beauty shop, a fabulous jewellery shop and Jamie Olivers deli where we got to sample some culinary delights, all the while finding out more about the event and what it can offer.

It was so nice to hang out with some of my favourite people- SJ, Hayley, Grace (also our driver for the day) and Tara and explore a side of Bath I had yet to see. The day ended with coffee and a natter with some of the team and the gorgeous Gina (mastermind behind most Bristol events) at Hall & Woodhouse where we were spoilt with generous goodie bags and much welcomed warmth after the freezing cold and sometimes snowy wandering.

The Bath in Fashion event itself starts on 13th April and runs until the 21st. I'd be here all day trying to run through everything that is going to be happening but you can see a full itinerary on the website and I can tell you now it's going to be awesome! With a mix of free and paid for events- shopping, talks, food and fun I will be trying to pop along for at least one of the days and I can recommend it to anyone- I'm already urging everyone I work with to attend! I'd also like to say that if you live local and are yet to visit the Fashion Museum (I hadn't before Sunday) it's well worth it, there are some gorgeous dresses spanning hundreds of years and a fun little dress up station where Hayley and I had fun with hats.

To be quite honest this is a piss poor attempt at trying to explain just how fabulous this is going to be and really it's a ruse to get you along there for yourselves!

A big shout out to little lab for the talk, demo and goodies (and for being downright gorgeous) and to Magpie and Bear for making me want to spend my wages before I've earnt them and for having the cutest dog ever (I'll be back, several times!)
